Obama bows?!
I think Obama is a fairly down to earth President, and a perfect role model so far!
He made an unexpected visit to his US army at Iraq, notifying that they still have to hang on there as now is the transition of authority, that citizens of Iraq should learn how to take responsibility on their own security, safety. As a Commander in Chief, he has done well, giving clear directions and expectations.
Regarding the bowing "incident", I think it is solely due to courtesy, nothing else.
So dear Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak of Malaysia, I dare ask:
How big is your dream for Malaysia?
Is it still useful to segregate the citizens to Bumi and non-Bumi?
How far can you project Malaysia to the world?
All the best to our PM and his new Cabinet.
Think wisely, act rationally, because all eyes... are watching, all fingers... are pointing, all kinds of words are at the edge of everyone's lips and not all thoughts are positive.
Earth Hour @ Ampang Look Out Point
Anyway, many people went to Ampang Look Out Point to witness the dawn of Earth Hour. I was only there at 10 pm.
Sudden rush of adrenaline, felt like going to the look out point to see what everyone was talking about – beautiful scenery of KL.Searched thru the internet for maps, which lead me to this(to the left). It’s quite tricky, should not focus too much on the traffic lights, take note of the turnings, whether it is a T-junction, cross roads etc.
Roads to the our destination is quite steep. So make sure your car is all “geared” up before starting the trip.
There are plenty of parking area there. you can choose to park by the road, which is rather dangerous as there are no street lamps. Perhaps only moonlight. Another alternative would be paying 2 RM for going further up to the peak for parking lots or 3 RM for valet parking(2 thumbs up for this because usually parking lots are all occupied).
We finally made it up to the hill top!!!
What is it like to be up there?!
Cool. Well yeah, it is chilly up there as we are on top of the hill. It’s quite romantic for couples just-in-love, enjoying the view, see how the lights actually flicker from faraway.
There are plenty of restaurants up there, serving foods ranging from western cuisine, to mamak food to steamboat. Prices are quite reasonable!
Definitely a place to set our foot at- at least once. =]
